BASS/BSST Forum: Community Guidelines
Welcome on the joint forum of the BASS and the BSST.
Our mission is to provide a save space to share knowledge and provide answers for questions regarding the broad spectrum of Sleep Medicine.
Forum access
The forum is accessible for all medical, para-medical and academic professions active in Sleep Medicine in Belgium, be it in a Sleep lab or a research environment. Membership of the BASS/BSST is not obliged, but strongly recommended. Access for commercial professions is not allowed.
Access is provided by login after registration. For the registration a professional email from the institution (hospital, university,…) is required. Access will be granted after approval of the registration from a forum administrator.
General Rules
- Questions and answers should be written in a respectful way and in appropriate language.
- Introduce yourself, it helps the others to understand your problem and provide adequate answers.
- Knowledge about the use of equipment or products can be a subject of a topic, but should be discussed without judging the equipment or product. Advertising or promoting equipment or products is not allowed. If a user has any relationship with the brand he has to make a disclosure in the reaction.
- Respect intellectual property. Sharing documents, guidelines, manuals, etc…of other persons or institutions is prohibited. Links to public available information is allowed.
- Do not share information of or refer to other persons without their consent.
Questions and reactions will be monitored by the moderators. They have the right to remove or block inappropriate content and to mute a user.
Repeated or gross violation of the rules can result in permanent removal of the registration of a user.
